Dr. Andrew A. Merola, MD is a board certified Orthopedic Reconstructive Spinal Surgeon based in New York City, NY. He attended Howard University College of Medicine and has been practicing medicine for over 30 years.
He has been a recipient of many awards including the Russell S. Hibbs Award for Clinical Excellence in Spinal Reconstructive Surgery and has been named to New York Magazine’s Top Doctors consecutively for over 12 years. Dr. Merola is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery as well as the American Board of Spinal Surgery. He is an active member of the Scoliosis Research Society and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
